![]() ![]() I ended up switching to windows for my audio machine because i couldn't get full functionality out of my old audio interface/midi controller and i wanted to use ableton live. I never noticed any kind of performance hit and funnily enough wine can actually run old windows applications (pre XP/win2k) stuff better than current versions of windows. when i was using linux exclusively bout 3 years ago i did get quite a few vst's running using lmms+wine. I know someone on another forum who has had fl studio running solidly on his linux setup for over 1-2years. i haven't used latest versions of wine so can't say what will and won't atm. Seriously though some stuff will work some stuff won't. Have you tried installing audio apps or ASIO?well yes in theory but remember Wine Is Not Emulation ![]() So with Wine you can basically run things as if it were under Windows? No performance hit? ![]()
